Learn the basics of skating!

This program is designed for youth with little to no experience, helping them get comfortable on the ice.

Participants will learn essential skating skills, including:

• Balance
• Strides
• Stopping

Details:

• Thursday evenings
• Date: 4 week program, January 22nd to February 12th
• Price: $40
• Time: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
• Location: John A Gillies Recreation Centre (138 Sarah St. E)
• Ages 4 and up

Important Information

• Parents of children 9 yrs and under must stay on site for the duration of the lesson.
• Helmets are mandatory on ice surface.

Registration and Payment Options

• Registration is mandatory.
• Pay Online: A 3% transaction fee applies to all credit card payments.
• Pay Later: Pay by cash or debit at the Township office, max 2 days before the program date.

Important Information

• Holidays: Classes are cancelled on holidays.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations will not be issued when less than 3 days notice is provided. The refund method depends on the original form of payment and may take up to four weeks.
• No refunds for requests received after this period.
• Unless otherwise stated, full refunds will be issued when programs are cancelled by the Township.
• Refund requests for programs that have already started will be considered only at the discretion of the Recreation Director. Approval of any refund, full or partial, will depend on the circumstances of the request and the portion of the program completed.
