On the Water Wednesdays are back!

The warm weather is here, and what better way to take full advantage of the sunshine and our stunning local beach than by exploring the waterways on a Kayak or Stand-Up Paddleboard?
We’re thrilled to bring back On the Water Wednesdays – a fun and relaxing way to connect with nature and fellow paddling enthusiasts!

Details:

• When: Wednesday, June 18th and 25th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
• Where: Burnstown Beach, 1537 Calabogie Rd at the Paddle Shack
• What to Bring: Your own paddleboard or kayak (or inquire about rentals), life jacket, sunscreen, water bottle and a spirit for adventure!

Cost:

• Free if you bring your own equipment.
• Thanks to a generous grant from The ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo Nordisk, all rentals for the month of June are free! Please note that availability is limited, and all rentals must be booked online ahead of time. If you reserve a kayak or stand-up paddleboard but can’t make it, let us know in advance so we can offer it to someone else.
• $20 + HST for equipment rental for all future events

Payment & Registration:
We have a limited number of kayaks and SUP. For June, your equipment rental will only be confirmed once you've registered and selected your rental. For July and August, it will be confirmed once payment has been received.
We encourage everyone to register ahead of time, including those who bring their own equipment.

1. You can register online ahead of time (waiver completed at checkout)
• Pay by Credit directly on your account (Please note that a 3% convenience fee applies to all credit card payments)
• Select "Pay Later" and e-transfer to finance@mcnabbraeside.com
2. Register on-site

• You can register upon arrival. You will be asked to sign a waiver in order to participate in the group paddle.

Registration for the month of June will open on Monday, May 12th at 9AM.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Equipment rental refunds will not be issued when less than 3 days notice is provided. The refund method depends on the original form of payment and may take up to four weeks. Unless otherwise stated, full refunds will be issued when programs are cancelled by the Township.
• A decision regarding cancellations due to inclement weather will be made by 2:00 PM on the day of the paddle. All rental fees will be refunded if the session is cancelled by the Township.

All skill levels and ages are welcome – whether you're trying it for the first time or you're a seasoned paddler, come out and enjoy the beautiful waterways of the Township with a great group!
