Get ready for the holiday babysitting season!
With Christmas parties, family gatherings and holiday events just around the corner, this course is a great opportunity for youth to gain the skills and confidence needed to begin babysitting (and earn some extra spending money before Christmas.)
Participants will learn:
- Responsibility and leadership skills
- How to make good decisions and manage difficult behaviours
- Basics of starting and managing a babysitting business
- Feeding, diapering, dressing and playing with babies and children
- Recognizing and preventing unsafe situations
- Basic first aid and emergency response
- Child development stages and age-appropriate care strategies

- Pay Online: A 3% transaction fee applies to all credit card payments.

Note:
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations will not be issued when less than 3 days notice is provided. The refund method depends on the original form of payment and may take up to four weeks. No refunds for requests received after this period. Unless otherwise stated, full refunds will be issued when programs are cancelled by the Township. Refund requests for programs that have already started will be considered only at the discretion of the Recreation Director. Approval of any refund, full or partial, will depend on the circumstances of the request and the portion of the program completed.
